We intend to provide our customers with solutions that make air freight process faster, easier and cost efficient.

The Marketplace

CargoX is the first dedicated online marketplace for the air cargo industry. Members post their shipment requests and receive bids from their selected feedback-rated forwarders. It's totally free for members to list shipments and for forwarders to place bids. CargoX's reverse-auction format dramatically reduces shipping costs by promoting information sharing and creating healthy competition. CargoX's mutual feedback system holds Forwarders accountable for their service and rewards those that perform well! It also ensures that shippers make timely payments and stick to their obligations.

How it Works - Shipper

Get Registered to start the shipment process
You have to send us a copy of the PAN Card, IEC Certificate and Signed User Agreement. These documents can be sent to us either via mail or e-mail if they are digitally signed.
You will be eligible to post shipment requests only once your registration has been approved.

Post your shipment request
Your shipment request should contain all relevant information along with special terms and conditions if any, since forwarders will bid for your consignment on this basis.
You can modify the shipment request only until a bid has been placed.

Select the forwarders
You may select all or specific forwarders with whom you wish to deal with

Reverse auction mechanism throws up the winning bid
The forwarders will bid for the consignment on a real time basis and can make any number of bids until the auction closes.

Contract is sealed with the lowest bidder
You have a legal binding contract with the winning forwarder as per the terms and conditions of CargoX.

Rate the forwarder on completion of transaction
You will give the Forwarder a Positive / Neutral / Negative feedback on the basis of performance. This would lead to the development of a composite feedback score. You will also leave a comment on the basis of communicational efficiency, compliance and flexibility with dates & delivery in terms of time and quality.

How it Works - Forwarder

Get registered to become a part of the database
You have to send us a copy of the PAN Card, IATA Code Certificate and Signed User Agreement. These documents can be sent to us either via mail or e-mail if they are digitally signed.
You will be eligible to participate in the auctions only once your registration has been approved

Deposit Margin Money
Once your registration has been approved, you must deposit money in your account with CargoX if you want to place a bid for a consignment. If your deposit balance is lower than the stipulated match fees on the consignment, your bid will not be processed, thereby prompting "Inadequate Balance". The details of the funds deposited and match fees deducted from your account is available in the "My Funds" section

Receive shipment requests
If a shipper selects you for an auction, you will receive intimation along with the shipment details.

Bid for the shipment
After viewing the shipment details and profile of the shipper, you may bid for the auction if you wish to only if you agree with all the terms and conditions. Once a bid is placed it cannot be modified. You can only place a new bid to improve the existing bid. Any new bid should be at least Rs.500 lower than the current winning bid. THE BIDDING IS ON THE BASIS OF THE TOTAL COST OF SHIPPING THE CONSIGNMENT WHICH SHOULD INCLUDE ALL AIRLINE CHARGES, AGENCY CHARGES, TAXES ETC. YOU MAY NOT CHARGE THE SHIPPER ANY AMOUNT OVER AND ABOVE THE BID AMOUNT.

Contract with shipper in case of winning the auction
In case your bid is the winning bid, you have a legal binding contract with the shipper as per the terms and conditions of CargoX
